Vettr is a Chrome extension that helps you spot fake Amazon reviews. We built it to be useful without being creepy. Here's exactly what data we touch, what we don't, and who else is involved.

Third-party services

Vettr uses the following services to work. Each has its own privacy policy:

Supabase Authentication, database, serverless functions Email, usage counts, cached analysis results
Google Gemini AI review analysis and deal finding Product title, price, and review text (via our server, never directly from your browser)
Stripe Payment processing for Pro subscriptions Payment details (handled by Stripe directly, we never see them)
Reddit Community review search (public API) Product title as a search query
YouTube Video review search (public search) Product title as a search query

All communication between the extension and our servers uses HTTPS. The Gemini API key is stored server-side and never included in the extension code.

If we change what data we collect or how we use it, we'll update this page and the "last updated" date at the top. For significant changes, we'll show a notice in the extension.
